Contract Senior Production Artist - Calgary
Bryan Mills Iradesso (BMIR), an integrated corporate communications company, is seeking a skilled and meticulous Production Artist. The successful candidate has at least 4 years of experience in print production and annual reports primarily using Adobe InDesign CS2. This contract position will be for a duration of approximately four months.
Responsibilities:
- Production and management of print materials with an emphasis on annual reports
- Prepare print ready files for offset and digital printing
- Managing and archiving the design file database
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in print production or related field, or comparable work experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 2. MS Office a bonus
- Strong proofreading skills a plus
The successful candidate will be process-oriented and organized with a strong attention to detail. Time and project management skills are desired with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently under deadlines. The person in this position will work closely with the Creative Director, Print and Design Coordinator and our team of graphic designers. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are a must.
